General:

The rma.de online reservation database for hotel reservations is administrated by rma.de rhein-main aktuell multimedia GmbH. The website rma.de contains more than 40,000 pages and since its conception in the mid-Nineties has become one of the leading platforms in the region. For over 25 years now, rma.de rhein-main aktuell has published the leading bilingual arts and information magazine in the Rhein-Main area.

Hotel categories and hotel information:

The hotels are classified according to star ratings in keeping with the rules and criteria of the German Hotel and Restaurant Association, the establishment's own classification and what guests think about the hotel.

Reservation:

The hotel you have chosen lists extensively all details on the various types of room and their standard of comfort together with any supplementary services. Our database takes into account any special prices such as during exhibitions or special weekend breaks and will inform you of such prior to booking. Should there be no accommodation available at your chosen hotel, you will of course be offered alternatives.

Prices:

All prices are valid per night and room, sometimes with, sometimes without breakfast. The prices are final prices and contain service and VAT. All prices in our database are based on binding information provided by each hotel itself. Rma.de cannot undertake any liability should there be an alteration to the booking of which the guest has not been previously informed.

Reservation:

All hotel reservations are contracted between the guest and the hotel selected. The same applies to the invoice. All personal information is encrypted and electronically processed using continually updated, secure technology. Only that data which is required for a reservation will be transmitted. No personal information will be disclosed to third parties for other purposes.  After reservation and payment have been successfully carried out, you will automatically receive a binding confirmation of reservation by email. Please present this email when checking in at the hotel.

Reservations over the New Year:

It is possible that room prices may change slightly for reservations running from one year into the next. The resulting price difference is to be settled with the hotel. The prices quoted are binding for bookings within the same year.

Payment:

A deposit payment of 11% is to be made when booking. This sum will be fully credited to the final balance. All personal data are encoded and transmitted with the most secure technology available at present. Such data will not be passed on to third parties. After booking and payment has been successfully completed, the guest will receive automatically a binding reservation confirmation by email. Please present this email when checking in at the hotel.

Cancellation of bookings outside exhibition times:

Individual hotels and hotel groups have very different procedures when cancelling room reservations made outside of exhibition times.
In the previous year, it has become more and more the rule that cancellations made up to 24 hours before arrival or at the latest 6 pm on the day prior to arrival are free of charge outside of exhibition times and only the 11% deposit is charged as a service fee.
If you would like to cancel your booking, please call the hotel or use the email address indicated in your booking confirmation. The hotel is entitled to request payment of room fees for cancelling after the deadline or no-show.

Cancellation of bookings during exhibition:

Cancellation of a room reservation during exhibition times may in some cases, depending on the hotel, incur varying cancellation costs. According to German law, these costs must not exceed 80% of the booking value.

Other Services:

Through our system, our partners, the renowned car hire company Europcar and the German Railways all offer you the opportunity of reserving rail tickets or picking up a hire car at the desired location.

Complaints:

Complaints can only be accepted if we are immediately notified via email, telephone or in writing. You will then receive confirmation within 48 hours that the problem will be resolved to your satisfaction.

Place of jurisdiction:

Any reservations made via Internet with rma.de are subject to the company's General Terms & Conditions of Sale, and German law. Acknowledgement of this condition is a prerequisite to booking. The place of jurisdiction is Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, Germany.
